Machine Operator

Job Description

The Machine Operator I performs advanced manufacturing operations related to metal processing and stripping processes in a production environment. This role ensures that metal products are processed accurately, safely, and in strict compliance with work order instructions, quality standards, and documented procedures while supporting overall production flow and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Cut metal materials according to work order instructions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Clean metals using dip or conveyor processes to prepare materials for subsequent operations.
• Perform operations within stripping areas in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Cut and bake metal components and perform resist touch-up as required to meet production and quality requirements.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production operations, preferably in a metal processing or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in machine operation and general production activities.
• Ability to operate and monitor machines used for cutting, baking, and processing metal materials.
• Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and safe practices when working with production chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Ability to follow written work order instructions, process procedures, and safety guidelines accurately.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
