Menswear Designer

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Menswear Designer to join the NAHMIAS team full-time. This role requires a refined design sensibility, strong technical execution, and an intuitive understanding of the brand’s identity and visual language. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional sketching and drawing skills, with the ability to develop concepts into fully realized luxury garments while working closely alongside the creative director to help bring each collection vision to life.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of seasonal menswear collections across ready-to-wear categories
• Create detailed hand sketches, technical drawings, CADs, and design presentations
• Execute concepts and seasonal narratives in alignment with the Creative Director’s vision
• Research fabrics, trims, vintage references, graphics, and cultural inspiration
• Participate in fittings, proto reviews, and garment development meetings
• Collaborate with development, production, and patternmaking teams to ensure design integrity
• Prepare tech packs and maintain accurate design specifications
• Support runway presentations, lookbooks, campaigns, and special projects as needed
• Maintain organization of design archives, references, and seasonal materials

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in menswear design, preferably within luxury fashion
• Strong portfolio showcasing elevated menswear design and creative development
• Exceptional sketching, drawing, and illustration abilities required
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrication, and luxury finishing
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced creative environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Deep knowledge of luxury fashion, contemporary culture, music, sport, and art

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working directly under a Creative Director
• Experience with luxury sportswear, denim, tailoring, or outerwear
• Familiarity with overseas factories and development processes
• Understanding of premium fabrication and garment wash techniques
