Growth in our digital advertising business is key to Walmart’s overall growth strategy. Walmart Connect is seeking to fill the role of Manager, Operations Analytics. Job Responsibilities: · Help drive operational intelligence, efficiency, campaign optimization and management, yield monetization and business analysis by developing powerful visualizations through reports and dashboards that power the insights across all facets of Walmart’s advertising offerings, including Display, Sponsored Ads, and Offsite products. · Merge or join various data sources using Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI to create views that allow for slicing and dicing of the data across data dimensions. · Build robust dashboards that require minimal maintenance. · Look for opportunities to simplify and optimize the dashboard. · Work with product, operations, and sales teams to improve Walmart advertising metrics through best practices on reports and dashboards including visualization techniques, color palette, etc. · Deliver tailored reporting solutions as per requirement in a timely manner. · This position does not supervise employees. This will be an Individual Contributor role. Minimum Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years’ experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area OR 4 years’ experience conducting mathematical analyses. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience designing, operationalizing, and maintaining self-serve dashboards using Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI and/or Tableau. · Experience developing SQL queries to conduct data analysis using multiple data sources across Google BigQuery, Hive, Oracle SQL, etc. · Strong background in data modeling, extraction, cleansing, and processing from multiple sources, ensuring that the reports are not only visually appealing but also accurate and reliable. · Media analytics experience in a digital advertising environment is a plus. · Working knowledge of Ad network/Ad exchange/DSP/SSP/Publisher preferred. · Familiarity with CRM and AdTech systems a plus (Salesforce, Google Ads Manager, etc.). · Excellent communicator, across multiple levels/functions with the ability to influence and drive action. · Expertise in creating mappings, trust and validation rules, and match & merge processes · Proven track record of partnering across cross functional teams to derive and communicate insights. · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup like environment. · Excellent time management skills with a focus on execution, ability to juggle multiple urgent requests and prioritize responsibilities.
