Job Title: Groundskeeper / Landscaper
Shift: First Shift (6:00 AM Start)
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Location: Fresno, ca

Position Summary:

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of outdoor areas, including landscaping, irrigation systems, and walkways. This role requires hands-on work with tools, machinery, and sprinkler systems to ensure a safe and attractive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding

• Maintain and repair sprinkler and irrigation systems

• Plant, water, and care for trees, flowers, shrubs, and grass areas

• Remove debris, leaves, and trash from walkways, parking lots, and outdoor spaces

• Perform minor repairs and upkeep of exterior areas and equipment

• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as needed

• Ensure proper care and safe use of landscaping tools and machinery

• Report hazards or maintenance issues to supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Minimum 1 year of experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or similar outdoor maintenance role

• Hands-on experience with sprinkler systems and irrigation troubleshooting required

• Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, blowers, trimmers)

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions

• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation

• Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies
