Systems Engineer

Description:

ENG- Develop, execute, and support system integration testing for software-intensive systems operating in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) laboratory environment. Analyze requirements, create test cases, document results, investigate anomalies, and collaborate with software engineers to resolve issues. Perform failure mode testing and support the development of automated test solutions.

*4/10-B (Thursday-Sunday, 10 Hours per Day, 1st Shift)
*Must be a U.S. Citizen

#Education & Job Requirements

*Bachelor's degree with 16+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 14+ years of experience
*10+ years of experience integrating and testing software-intensive systems in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) system integration laboratory
*5+ years of experience using one or more of the following tracking tools: JIRA, GitLab, or GitHub
*5+ years of experience with Eggplant, Cucumber, or Python
*5+ years of experience with Omniview and Mission Planning CONOPS
*Develop and communicate long-term hardware integration strategies
*Break down system requirements into testable capabilities
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

#Job Duties & Functions

*Develop test cases that validate system requirements
*Execute manual testing of assigned system capabilities
*Record test results using test log tools
*Create anomaly reports for issues identified during testing
*Collaborate with software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve anomalies
*Develop failure mode testing for assigned capabilities
*Support automation engineers in developing automated test cases
*Verify system functionality within a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) integration laboratory
