Senior Estimator - Multi-Family Construction

Webuild () is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Construction Estimator to lead estimating operations and oversee an estimating team supporting multifamily residential development projects across Northern California.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in an estimating role, and a strong track record of project management to serve as a key leader within our organization, responsible for all aspects of preconstruction estimating and proposal development. This includes reviewing contracts and bids, conducting site walk-throughs, preparing quantity take-offs, developing detailed cost estimates, identifying value engineering opportunities, preparing conceptual estimates, and creating project budgets and scopes of work.

You will also play a central role in building strong client relationships and securing project awards throughout the Northern California marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimating Leadership: Direct all estimating activities for multifamily residential projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and innovation in project bids.
• Client Engagement: Actively interact with clients to strengthen relationships and secure new project opportunities.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor the estimate development group in collaboration with senior leadership, business development, and construction management teams. Develop best practices, implement streamlined processes, and drive the success of a growing estimating department.

Candidates should have a Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline. Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) desired, but not required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. PlanGrid, Builder Construct or other construction estimating software experience required.
