Salary Range: $19.00 to $22.97 DOQ

Summary:

As a Member Service Representative, I welcome members into the branch and provide excellent member service that promotes financial education while using expert knowledge in summary deposit, loan, and convenience service products to process various financial inquiries accurately and efficiently. Provides excellent member service and is responsible for achieving and exceeding established cross-sell goals, actively supporting organizational goals and promotions, and maintaining acceptable member service standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The job duties, responsibilities, and requirements represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability but may not be all-inclusive.

• Perform tasks independently, analyze research, and resolve problems and members' issues with minimal supervision.
• Consistently adhere to sales and service guidelines to provide an exceptional member service experience.
• Receive and disburse funds, posts deposits, loan payments, transfers, withdrawals, additions, and deletions of authorized account signers.
• Processes loan advances from credit card or line of credit accounts
• Issues cashier's checks
• Balances cash drawer daily
• Create a welcoming, friendly, professional environment when interacting with the public.
• Supports and actively promotes all marketing campaigns.
• Consistently achieve cross-sell goals by promoting and selling products and services to fit the member's needs.
• Scans and balances check in preparation for check processing.
• Assist in processing school bags and in balancing the cash vault.
• You might be required to perform your duties at different branch locations.
• Assists in the training of new team members.

Requirements:

Experience/Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of credit union/banking experience.
• Previous teller or equivalent experience serving customers.
