The Senior Plant Human Resources Manager will be accountable for delivering human resources leadership for a manufacturing facility. This hands-on position is responsible for driving the implementation of HR processes and initiatives and promoting a results oriented and performance driven culture.
The Senior Plant Human Resources Manager should have:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for leading union relationships
- Experience with data management
- Ability to manage the discipline process
- Expertise coaching and counseling employees
- Experience supervising payroll
- A service-oriented approach to working with others
The Senior Plant Human Resources Manager will:
- Manage labor relations (including involvement in union meetings, grievances, and negotiations)
- Drive Talent Management processes
- Conduct employee investigations
- Manage and maintain adequate staffing levels for the plant
- Bachelor degree required
- At least 5 years of professional HR experience, preferably in a 24/7 environment
- Previous experience in a union environment
- Must have experience with California Labor Laws
- Proficient in MS Office, with the ability to learn new systems and programs
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required

What we offer at O-I:
Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
