Job Title: Utility Maintenance & Janitorial Associate

Pay Rate : $20/hr.

Shift: TBD

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance tasks as well as janitorial duties to support operations and uphold sanitation standards in our food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine facility maintenance, including minor repairs to equipment, fixtures, and building systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Empty trash receptacles, sweep, mop, and sanitize designated areas.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, such as removing garbage from parking lot.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and sanitation procedures.
• Support production teams with utility tasks such as moving equipment, setting up work areas, or other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance or janitorial experience preferred (food manufacturing experience a plus).
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow safety, sanitation, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
