Senior Software Engineer, Apple Cash (Cupertino)

Description

In this role, you will architect and build innovative solutions and features for Apple Cash. Job duties include:

• Write bullet-proof Java code (thread-safe, performant, object-oriented, and inherently testable)
• Engage with internal stakeholders including product, fraud, security, legal, compliance, privacy, and operations to understand their needs and requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature definition and development
• Work with external partners and vendors to ensure quality deliverables

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with object-oriented analysis and design with languages like Java
• Experience in client-server development, API design, and implementation
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL Databases
• BS degree in computer science or equivalent field plus minimum 3 years of software development experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building high availability, high volume, distributed web applications and services
• Good understanding of cloud technologies, tools, and frameworks

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
