We are seeking an Oxygen Transfill Technician to become an integral part of our team!

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
• Prefill process includes:
• Checks oxygen tanks for gauge and pressure of the tank.
• Calibrates to test for purity of oxygen.
• Checks hydrostatic test dates on each tank.
• Performs a visual inspection of each tank for damage, labeling, potential heat damage.
• Performs odor test.
• Ensures tanks are properly vented.
• Conducts a valve inspection.
• Vacuums tanks prior to filling
• Visual color inspection
• Performs fill process including:
• Connect cylinders to filling manifolds.
• Fill high pressure cylinders with oxygen.
• Monitors heat of compression.
• Monitors pressure during filling.
• Monitors temperature of tanks.
• Performs leak test.
• Disconnect, Test, and Inspect cylinders - verifying filling requirements.
• Perform post-fill processes testing for leakage, purity, and odor.
• Store oxygen cylinders in appropriate section of department/warehouse.
• Responsible for monitoring expiration dates to assure supplies are returned or re-inventoried per company
guidelines.
• Document all worked performed according to written policy.
• Maintain accurate files of all work performed. Files contain such information as lot and batch numbers, cylinder
maintenance and inspection logs, and materials required by the F.D.A
• Ensure all workstations are maintained in an efficient, clean, and safe manner.
• Responsible for communicating actual and potential stock shortages or outages to leadership in a timely manner
to assure adequate inventory level.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
• Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
• Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy if applicable.
• Maintains compliant with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Able to handle multiple task and meet the defined requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in durable medical equipment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle physical workload (lifting and carrying up to 75lbs).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
