Senior Accountant

ODK Media, Inc. is a media group headquartered in Fullerton, CA that provides access to premium international content through its owned and operated streaming platforms, including OnDemandKorea , OnDemandChina , OnDemandViet , and Amasian TV . It also distributes content to global streaming services, cable operators, and movie theaters, serving as the Asian media hub for AAPI communities across the country.

We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team, who will be responsible for the daily and monthly accounting tasks. The Senior Accountant will also prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. The ideal candidate is passionate to learn, improve and innovate accounting procedures with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Review and reconcile vendor accounts, resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Perform month-end closing tasks, including accrued expenses, notes payable roll-forward, withholding tax, and payroll reconciliation.
• Manage borrowing base calculations, treasury operations, cash forecasting, and daily bank reconciliations.
• Support the Accounting Manager with general ledger closing and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing for annual audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare and manage monthly and quarterly royalty and revenue share reports for content providers.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as directed by the Accounting Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP required
• Advanced Excel and QuickBooks proficiency; ERP experience is preferred
• Bilingual in Korean preferred
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to come in person to the office Monday through Thursday

ODK Media, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated salary for the Senior Accountant role ranges from ($80,000 to $90,000) . Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
