Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Orange, California . The PICU RN will provide specialized, compassionate care to critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents.

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.

• Administer medications, IV fluids, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.

• Operate and monitor advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and infusion pumps.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Support and educate patients’ families throughout the care process.

• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to all hospital safety standards.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California .

• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience required.

• BLS and PALS certifications required; ACLS and NRP preferred.

• Experience managing ventilators, drips, and pediatric critical care equipment.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
