Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) position located in San Francisco, California. The role involves providing specialized outpatient occupational therapy services focused on post-operative orthopedic aftercare, acute fractures, hand and upper extremity injuries, and other related diagnoses. This position offers an 8-hour daytime shift with a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week, starting on 07/20/2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, CA state licensure in hand therapy, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 3 years of outpatient hand therapy experience, familiarity with Epic electronic charting system, experience with post-operative orthopedic cases, adult outpatient experience, ability to float to multiple facilities if needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), Hand and Upper Extremity (AOTA) certification, additional community hospital or outpatient clinic experience.
• Certifications: BLS, CHT - cert hand therapist, AOTA - Hand/UE certification.
• Skills: Adaptive Equipment, Assessment, Discharge Planning, Dynamic Splints, Edema Management, Electrical Stimulation, Evaluation, Hand Injury and Repair, Home Exercise Program, Kinesiotaping, Myofascial Release, Nerve Injury Management, Orthoplast, Patient/Family Education, Splinting, Tendon Repair, Ultrasound, Upper Extremity Therapy.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be available to start by 07/20/2026 and have the ability to participate in required orientation hours. Resources may be reassigned within a radius of 75+ miles to different departments or facilities as needed.
