Position Summary
Food Production – Storeroom I, will be responsible for specialized production tasks in the storeroom and cleaning and may have generalized role working in all departments. Responsibilities include pick and pack and general facility cleaning and may include production responsibilities such as keeping the production area clean, preparing and operating machinery and equipment for use, working the production line as instructed and strictly following health and safety guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Following health and safety standards
Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor
Following production guidelines and specification
Pick and pack
Cleaning facility
Possible Other Responsibilities
Prepare, measure, and pack ingredients according to specifications
Checking quality of product
Filling, Bagging and sealing products
Finalizing and packaging product for shipment
Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment
Monitoring the assembly line and removing faulty products
Working on the production line and meeting production targets
Reporting any issues to the supervisor
Compliance with company policies and procedures
Performing other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
• At least 18 years old.
• Food service and/or production experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently and in a team
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully
perform the essential functions of this position.
• Standing up to 8 hours per day.
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• May be subject to noise above 85 decibels
• Bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping actions.
• Good spatial awareness working around manufacturing equipment.
• Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of step ladder
