Veterinary Medical Director J862113
This long-established, full-service small-animal practice is known locally for compassionate, client-centered care and a loyal following. The team treats dogs, cats, and common pocket pets, with services spanning wellness and preventive care, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, diagnostics and imaging, urgent care, behavioral counseling, oncology support, pain management, hospice, and an on-site pharmacy.

- Lead medical quality and standards across the hospital while maintaining an active clinical caseload
- Mentor and coach veterinarians, RVTs, and support staff to elevate patient care and client communication
- Shape workflow, protocols, and case management for efficiency and excellent outcomes
- Practice a full spectrum of small-animal medicine and surgery, including wellness, dentistry, soft-tissue procedures, imaging-driven diagnostics, and urgent care
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture grounded in compassion, clear communication, and continuous improvement
- Engage with the community and nurture long-term client relationships Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Current California veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to high-quality, low-stress patient care
- Exceptional communication and client-education abilities
