Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for ICU patients following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage lines/tubes as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams; coordinate care across disciplines with critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and care teammates to ensure quality patient care.
- Document assessments, plans, interventions, and outcomes; maintain accurate records and uphold policy compliance.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and equipment safety; participate in handoffs, rounds, and care planning.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as part of the patient’s continuum of care.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the United States; California licensure strongly preferred or eligible for CA.
- ICU/critical care nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Ability to perform 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a rotating schedule as needed.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel and commit to a 13-week assignment in a hospital setting.
