- On-Site Role – Bay Area-based, high-visibility projects
1. Managing and overseeing multiple electrical projects simultaneously from the initial proposal to project completion.
2. Developing comprehensive project estimates and proposals.
3. Coordinating with project teams, including architects, engineers, construction managers, subcontractors, and clients.
4. Monitoring project progress, ensuring that all work is being done on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
5. Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
6. Reviewing and approving subcontractor and vendor invoices.
7. Maintaining a strong understanding of the overall market and competition, including pricing and industry trends.
8. Ensuring adherence to all safety and compliance regulations.
9. Providing regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders. Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating, specifically in commercial construction sectors.
3. Proven track record of managing and completing electrical projects on time and within budget.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
5. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
9. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is preferred but not mandatory.
