Job Summary:

• As a Lead Software Test engineer, you will oversee a team of web application and mobile test engineers working on-site in Pleasanton.
• You will be responsible for leading testing efforts, ensuring quality standards are met, and managing the overall testing process for cloud-based web and mobile applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leading and mentoring a team of test engineers focused on web and mobile application testing
• Developing comprehensive test strategies and plans aligned with project requirements and timelinesOverseeing the creation and maintenance of test cases and traceability matrices for all requirementsEnsuring proper test protocols are generated based on approved test cases
  Managing defect tracking and resolution processes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Implementing and improving testing processes, methodologies, and tools
• Reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders
• Ensuring testing activities meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Definitely test automation approach and guide the automation team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in software testing with at least 6 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks for cloud-based web and mobile applications
• Experience managing testing teams and coordinating testing activities
• Proven track record of implementing and improving testing processes
• Excellent understanding of requirements traceability and test documentation in regulated environment for med tech industry
• Experience with regulatory compliance testing for medical applications (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
• Experience with test resource planning and allocation
• Proficient in test automation (Java, TestNG,Appium) for Web and mobile apps
