Relief Part-Time Assistant Front Office Manager
EOE/M/F/D/V Job Description Reporting to the Director of Front Office Operations, your responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: - Responsible for permanent Overnight/ Night Audit Manager relief (2 days per week) and occasional opportunity for other shifts in the week may be available based on business demands - Lead and manage all aspects of the Rooms departments and ensure all service standards are followed with professional, friendly and engaging service - Provide leadership while fostering a compassionate, collaborative work environment - Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests - Maximize rooms revenue through participating in upsells, loyalty enrollments, and supporting agreed upon Revenue Management strategies and practices - Responsible for all hotel operations during overnight shift hours, focusing on front office operations, night audit and hotel safety/security - Ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting of daily operational packets, in compliance with prescribed auditing guidelines Qualifications - Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required - Prior experience working with Opera or a related system - Detailed oriented, strong business acumen, highly organized - Assist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed - Lead the department in the absence of the Front Office Manager - Ensure seamless operation of the hotel as the Manager on Duty, handling concerns, problem-solving, disturbances, special requests and any other opportunities that may arise. - Provides managerial support for Reception, Royal Service, and Guest Services in the daily operational duties for these areas - Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service - Ensure proper staffing and scheduling of all Front Office colleagues in accordance to productivity guidelines - Communicate through pre-shift logs, emails and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the respective shift and areas of operation - Train supervisors and fulfill training role in the absence of the trainer - Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way - Follow department policies, procedures and service standards - Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders - Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills - Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance - Demonstrate logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. - Salary Grade: $85,000 to $101,000 USD gross per annual Additional Information Visa Requirements: Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
