Staff Product Manager - Core - Remote | WFH

We are a leading provider of a powerful Universal Cloud Platform that empowers organizations to elevate their cloud infrastructure management. Our platform leverages an open-source project that has revolutionized the cloud-native community. We offer real-time visibility into infrastructure environments, an API-centric approach inspired by Kubernetes, and self-service capabilities for managing infrastructure and policies.

As part of our growth, we're looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of our core managed Crossplane experience. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving the strategy and execution to make our platform the top choice for building, managing, and scaling Crossplane-powered control planes. The position is based in North America, collaborating with teams across the US and EMEA, with working hours within the GMT-5 to GMT-8 time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of a market-leading managed Crossplane experience by defining the vision, strategy, roadmap, and implementation plan.
Act as the voice of the customer, translating feedback into product requirements, strategy documents, and user stories.
Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize backlogs and identify gaps in user needs.
Create low-fidelity mockups and deeply engage in the development of end-user features.
Partner with the Design team to build cohesive and intuitive user journeys.
Work cross-functionally with the broader product team to align roadmaps and ensure consistency.
Engage with customer service to understand and respond to customer needs, ensuring an excellent user experience.

You'll Be a Great Fit if You Have:

Experience building managed X-as-a-service product experiences.
Previous Product Management experience with SaaS, UI-based products.
Familiarity with and a passion for Crossplane, including a deep understanding of the open-source project and its real-world applications.
A strong understanding of Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
Experience in enterprise product management.
8+ years of Product Management experience.
Publicly available code on GitHub/GitLab (quality doesn't matter—this role doesn't involve shipping production code).
A continuous mindset of innovation and efficiency, always asking, "Is there a better way to do this?"

It's a Plus if You Have:

Working knowledge of Crossplane.
Experience creating diagrams or simple illustrations to enhance content.
Background in working with open-source communities and managing public roadmaps.
