Material Handler

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain bulk inventories and ensure the integrity of both paper and electronic records.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and develop solutions.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and assist in resolving material discrepancies.
• Provide materials for manufacturing and internal customers as per production plans.
• Assist in implementing new and existing department policies and procedures.
• Recommend improvements for departmental processes.
• Report hazardous conditions and contribute to workplace safety initiatives.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, shipping, or manufacturing.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools (Lean/Six Sigma) is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Skills & Certifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of logistics, manufacturing, and production planning.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across different organizational levels.
• Business acumen to analyze relevant data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Eligibilities & qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Experience using computer systems, Excel, Word, and other software.
