Case Manager (Personal Injury) (Sacramento)
We are seeking a Personal Injury Case Manager to support attorneys in managing personal injury matters from intake through resolution. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinates medical treatment and records, tracks case progress, and ensures matters move efficiently toward settlement or litigation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, client‑focused, and experienced in personal injury case flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance carriers
- Maintain regular contact with clients to provide updates, collect information, and address questions
- Guide clients through the personal injury process with professionalism and empathy
- Obtain and review medical records, bills, and treatment updates
- Coordinate medical care, lien holders, and referrals as needed
- Track treatment status and follow up on outstanding medical documentation
- Open, maintain, and organize case files (digital and physical)
- Monitor deadlines, statutes, and case milestones
- Assist with preparation of demand packages and settlement documentation
- Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding liability, coverage, and damages
- Request and review policy information
- Track claims status and settlement negotiations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a case manager in a plaintiff‑side personal injury firm
- Strong understanding of pre-litigation case flow
- Experience handling medical records, liens, and insurance correspondence
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
