Registered Nurse,

This Registered Nurse position in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) requires a minimum of two years of experience (1.5 years considered with strong qualifications) in a Level 3 NICU. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to neonates, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and potentially floating to the Mother Baby unit. Weekend work is required and may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs. All holiday requests must be submitted in advance.

Responsibilities:

- Providing skilled nursing care to neonates in a Level 3 NICU.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Performing patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Floating to the Mother Baby unit as needed.
- Meeting unit staffing needs, potentially working more than every other weekend.
- Submitting holiday scheduling requests in advance.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a Level 3 NICU (1.5 years may be considered).
- BLS certification.
- NRP certification.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Advanced certifications.
- Experience with 1:3 patient ratios.

Special Considerations:

- Weekend work is required and may exceed every other weekend.
- Floating to the Mother Baby unit is required.
- All holiday requests must be submitted in advance.
- On-call is not required.
- First-time travelers are accepted, but must have a minimum of four years of experience in a Level 3 NICU.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- RTO restrictions apply; RTO must be included at the time of submission.
- The facility allows for one call-off per two-week pay period.

Scheduling:

- Weekend work is required and may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs.
- Holiday scheduling requests are due in advance.
- Block scheduling is at the manager's discretion.
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
