Responsibilities

Senior Paralegal who provides paralegal support for the real estate functions of Legal Department. This position reports directly to the real estate attorneys in the Legal Department and helps support their drafting and processing of legal documents related to real estate transactions. This position works in coordination with the real estate attorneys to support the Real Estate Department in the Company.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

1. High School Diploma.
2. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in law firm or company setting performing legal tasks (can be a combination of education and experience).
3. Will accept advanced degree such as juris doctor in lieu of some years of experience.
4. Familiarity with and experience involving state real estate transactions such as leases and standard real estate documents.
5. Familiarity with reviewing, drafting, and editing legal documents.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Some college preferred.
2. Paralegal certificate preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $24.00 to $46.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
