Accounts Payable Specialist POST NUMBER: 467683

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support high-volume invoice processing in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have strong three-way match experience (PO, receipt, invoice), hands-on experience with a large ERP system, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines while collaborating cross-functionally with purchasing, receiving, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices with accuracy and efficiency

• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices

• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and variances

• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and issues

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements

• Prepare and assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments (ACH/wires)

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances

• Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures

• Assist with process improvements and system enhancements within AP workflows

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume environment

• Strong three-way match (PO, receiving, invoice) experience required

• Experience working within a large ERP system (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, Workday Financials, or similar)

• High-volume invoice processing experience

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems
