Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients of all ages with cardiorespiratory impairments in the acute care setting
- Administer aerosolized medications and facilitate secretion clearance per physician orders
- Support ventilation through invasive and non-invasive devices and adjust therapy as directed
- Conduct critical monitoring, including gas exchange, oxygenation, and other physiologic metrics
- Document patient status, interventions, and response; communicate with the care team
- Maintain equipment, ensure infection control practices, and participate in care planning as part of the interprofessional team

Requirements
- Ability to work in an acute care environment
- Strong patient-care skills and effective communication with patients, families, and team members
- Proficiency with standard respiratory therapy equipment and modalities
- Commitment to safety, infection control, and quality patient care
- Flexibility to work day shifts and accommodate a 40-hour work week
- Willingness to travel for assignment and adapt to a fast-paced setting
