Brand Marketing Coordinator
The Brand Marketing Coordinator is a dynamo who likes good clean fun. They will be responsible for coordinating brand marketing, PR, social media and communications for Soapy Joe's as we continue our fast-paced, high-growth trajectory. The Brand Marketing Coordinator is a skilled, self-motivated project coordinator who can multi-task. They will work on high-profile projects ranging from branding and retail promotions to social media to writing industry-leading content across a variety of platforms.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:
You will contribute to the business by coordinating brand marketing initiatives, internal and external communication for Soapy Joe's, and develop initiatives to build our social media and member community. Representing a positive public image both digitally, and in-person on Soapy Joe's behalf is key. You will work cross-functionally to deliver programs and communications that create a best-in-class standard that is fun, relevant, and meaningful. You'll be the go-to person in the execution of memorable customer experiences, content, , and more. Lastly, you will maintain, protect, and enhance the Soapy Joe's brand.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support promotional strategy and initiatives to build the brand, drive sales, engage members, and reduce churn.
- Develop scalable programs, toolkits, and assets to support company growth initiatives.
- Coordinate campaigns across traditional and digital media: collateral, print advertising, direct mail, social media, email. Contribute to the creative process.
- Coordinate marketing activities and assets that support a multi-unit high-volume system.
- Coordinate merchandising and POP production relating to campaigns and new stores.
- Develop relevant corporate communication strategies befitting a growing, modern organization.
- Coordinate projects with external agency partners such as social media, PR, creative, etc.
- Write and create content for SEO, media, and website.
- Liaise with PR Agency and media to handle requests for interviews, statements, etc.
- Contribute and edit website content within a WordPress CMS environment.
- Create, edit, and proofread marketing materials in an omni-channel retail environment ranging from POP and sales materials to blog posts, brochures, emails, and advertisements, to multimedia scripts and more
- Maintain health of internal communication channels with Ops and HR, such as newsletter, intranet, and corporate calendar.
- Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership.
- Report on KPI performance for owned areas
- Prepare content for weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings
- Owner of the monthly operating report
- Research media coverage, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- BSc/BA in public relations, communications, marketing, business or relevant field
- 5-8 years-experience in a similar role with progressing responsibility
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deliverables in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in copywriting and editing
- Experience managing campaigns and creative
- Team-oriented and able to work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to work nights and weekends, is required
Physical
- Ability to remain in a stationary seated or standing position for various increments of time.
- Able to move about to access a variety of tools and office equipment.
- Able to consistently operate a computer or other electronic device.
- Must be able to communicate clearly through both verbal and written form.
