MFG Customer Service Rep

Job Summary

We are seeking a MFG Customer Service Rep for a direct hire opportunity in San Fernando, CA. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with experience supporting clients, orders, and internal teams within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

The MFG Customer Service Rep will serve as a key point of contact for customers while coordinating closely with sales, production, shipping and receiving, and quality control teams. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, solving problems, and helping ensure orders and service expectations are handled accurately and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a primary customer contact for order updates, service requests, product information, and general account support.
- Coordinate with sales, production, shipping and receiving, and quality control teams to support accurate order processing and timely communication.
- Monitor customer orders, follow up on status updates, and help resolve issues related to delivery, documentation, or service expectations.
- Maintain accurate customer records, order details, communications, and internal documentation.
- Support sales and operations teams with customer service follow-through, order coordination, and cross-functional communication.
- Help identify service concerns, communicate solutions, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support customer accounts, order coordination, and service communication in a manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate with production, sales, shipping and receiving, and quality control teams.
- Resolve customer service issues and support timely, accurate order follow-up.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide professional client support.

- 3 to 5 years of customer service, sales support, or client care experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, production support, or a related operational environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work professionally with customers and internal departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up on details, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, operations, logistics, and quality teams.
- Proficiency with common business systems, order entry tools, email, and standard office software.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience supporting customer accounts in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain setting.
- Experience with order management, inventory coordination, shipping documentation, or production status tracking.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or manufacturing order processing systems.
- Bilingual communication skills may be helpful in a diverse manufacturing environment.
