Overview

Gallagher Bassett (GB) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Claims Enablement team as Manager - Claims Enablement . This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical claims expertise and leadership experience who are ready to take on a new challenge and contribute to our claim closure initiative, with potential expansion to other related initiatives.

As Manager, Claims Enablement, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and delivering impactful results. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, technical claims expertise, and the ability to solve complex problems. This role requires exceptional collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of claims management, including Resolution Managers, Supervisors, and Branch Managers. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments within GB to achieve shared goals.

How you'll make an impact

  • Support initiatives around claim closure, duration compression, claim excellence, and other related projects.
  • Analyze complex data sets using Power BI dashboards and related tools to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Identify process and performance gaps and partner with cross-functional areas to address and resolve barriers to success
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including claims management and other departments within GB.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and evolving business needs with flexibility and a proactive mindset.
  • Deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
About You

Ideal candidates for this position will have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Supervisor or equivalent role.
  • Jurisdictional experience in CA or the West Coast
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Experience overseeing projects and/or project management expertise
  • Strong analytical focus and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex claims-related challenges.
  • Technical claims acumen and a deep understanding of claims processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with intermediate desktop skills.
  • Experience using Power BI dashboards and analyzing related data sets.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with all levels of claims management.
Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
