We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in financial reporting, audit, and consolidations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial management across multiple locations, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

As a Regional Controller, you will:

1. Oversee all company accounts and investments.
2. Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
3. Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
4. Supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day activities.
5. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
6. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
7. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
8. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
9. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
10. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
11. Support month-end and year-end close process.
12. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
13. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
14. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
15. Additional controller duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

1. 7+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
2. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
2. CPA or CMA preferred.
4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
5. Experience with creating consolidated financial statements.
6. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
9. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
