Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist with neuro experience and a current CA license for a 58-bed inpatient acute rehab program.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation setting with a 58-bed program
• Large team environment treating a complex patient population
• Specialization in CVA, brain injury, SCI, cancer rehab, and complex orthopedic cases
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), Monday through Friday
• Includes 2 full weekends per month
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current, active California OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
• Acute inpatient rehabilitation experience required
• Neuro experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA-issued) required in hand at time of consideration
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Former employees or travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
