D UTIES AND R ESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal Systems Engineer III candidate is desired to have BS degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or mathematics. Software Engineer only: Working towards or have the following certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD). Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP). Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), etc.). Five (5) years of experience in technical field/project level in SATCOM or RF, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis. Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements. Five (5) years of technical experience in support of SATCOM or RF Specific Projects. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.

R EQUIRED S KILLS/Y EARS OF E XPERIENCE

A bachelor’s degree, technical school, trade school or military training in industrial engineering, electronics technology, information systems, computer science or other related technical field and ten years Navy SATCOM troubleshooting and/or customer service experience providing technical expertise in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement. Five (5) years of experience applying and managing IA requirements in a DoD environment. Ten years engineering experience with computer LAN/WAN systems including systems analysis, systems/equipment support, software development, test and evaluation, and systems integration. In-depth knowledge of the interfaces between Navy C4I and other systems including the software associated with these systems and equipment desired. Experience in design, analysis, development, and implementation of management information systems.

This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.

Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of technical and management personnel.

Compensation: $56 - $66 an hour.
Compensation for positions at Centurum vary depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, location, responsibilities, skill set, and level of experience.
