Senior Accountant

Our client, a fast-growing B2B SaaS company focused on simplifying cloud infrastructure for developers and teams, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its expanding finance operations.

Location:
San Francisco, CA. This position is on-site, but our client is open to considering fully remote candidates within the U.S.

Job Description:
This role will help build a scalable foundation to support our client’s rapid growth as a B2B SaaS, consumption-based business. You will work cross-functionally across the organization, owning core accounting processes and driving improvements that shorten close timelines, increase automation, and strengthen controls.
This position reports to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Support monthly close processes, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Own the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, vendor payments, and compliance with financial controls.
• Manage payroll-related accounting and ensure accurate tax filings in coordination with payroll providers.
• Maintain reconciliations for key GL accounts, including prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, leases, and bank accounts.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and support system enhancements across accounting operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• 4 years of accounting experience, including public accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting for fixed assets, accruals, and leases.
• Proficiency in Excel and modern accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Ramp, Rippling).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
