POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is a premier provider of turnkey cleanroom solutions , specializing in the rapid deployment of high-quality, controlled environments for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong sales acumen to act as the primary face of the company from the initial proposal through to the final commissioning.

This is not a traditional "back-office" PM role. You will be responsible for both Business Development (identifying and winning new projects) and Project Execution (managing the build and compliance). You are the bridge between the client’s clinical needs and the physical reality of a high-performance cleanroom.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project Lifecycle Leadership: Oversee all phases of cleanroom and pharmacy construction, ensuring turnkey delivery that is on-time, on-budget, and compliant with all regulatory bodies.

• Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the pharmacy and biotech sectors. You will lead the preparation of bids, cost estimates, and high-level technical proposals.

• Technical Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and specialized subcontractors to ensure systems meet strict industry standards (ISO, USP <797> , USP <800>).

• Strategic Client Management: Build long-term relationships with healthcare and life-science executives, ensuring the company is the first call for future expansions or retrofits.

• Onsite Oversight: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, enforce rigorous safety/quality control standards, and proactively solve complex engineering challenges.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Specialized Experience: 5+ years of project management experience specifically within cleanroom or pharmacy construction .

• Sales Track Record: Proven history of business development or technical sales within the construction industry.

• Regulatory Fluency: Deep understanding of the standards governing controlled environments (e.g., ISO cleanroom classes and pharmacy compounding regulations).

• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation and leadership abilities; you must be comfortable presenting to a boardroom of stakeholders and a crew of onsite subcontractors.
