Industrial Multicraft Maintenance Technician

A day in this role

When your shift begins, you’ll review your daily checklist, sync with the Maintenance Manager/Engineer to confirm priorities, and head straight to the equipment that drives our production. One hour you may be troubleshooting an electrical control issue; the next, you could be welding a bracket, adjusting a hydraulic valve, or machining a quick fix to get a line back on spec. You’ll move between preventive maintenance, urgent work orders, and on-the-spot support for production—all while keeping your area clean and safe.

What you’ll handle

• Work through assigned daily checklists and sequence tasks for maximum impact.
• Close work orders promptly; if timing slips, notify the Maintenance Manager immediately.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to cut downtime to a minimum.
• Carry out preventive maintenance across the plant as directed by the Maintenance Manager/Engineer.
• Partner with production teams to uphold operating standards and requirements.
• Verify equipment is fully operational after every repair or maintenance activity.
• Contribute ideas and effort toward continuous improvement in throughput, reliability, and safety.
• Maintain a tidy workspace—sweep, organize tools, and clean surfaces daily.
• Dispose of removed parts in accordance with disposal and hazardous material regulations.
• Document quality or process issues and initiate corrective actions when nonconformities arise.
• Sign out and track all parts taken from inventory for repairs.
• Follow all safety, EEOC, and OSHA policies and procedures.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance with strength across multiple trades listed above.
• Proven troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and related technical systems.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and collaborate as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.
• Working knowledge of safety practices and OSHA compliance.
• Excellent organization and the ability to juggle priorities effectively.

• Minimal equipment downtime and strong overall equipment effectiveness.
• Target: 100% completion of assigned work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Consistently high quality in all repairs and projects.
• A clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times.
• Visible initiative in resolving equipment, process, or system nonconformities.

Work environment

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial facility. You will work with a wide range of tools and equipment and are expected to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
