Job Title: Production Line Worker $17hr

Job Description

As an Assembly Associate, you will be responsible for assembling kitchen cabinets using air tools and hand tools. Your duties will include trimming, gluing joints, and fitting parts together to form sections of cabinets, assembling sections to form completed cabinets, fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers, and shelves, and installing completed products. You will also perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assemble kitchen cabinets using air tools and hand tools.
• Trim and glue joints and fit parts together to form sections of cabinets.
• Assemble sections to form completed cabinets.
• Fit hinges, locks, catches, drawers, and shelves.
• Install completed products.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Must be able to perform metric measurements with tape and with calipers.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to assess and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production, general labor, inspection, assembly, and forklift operation.
• Skills in woodwork, hand tools, packing, carpentry, and power tools.
• Ability to recognize and identify letter and number combinations.

Work Environment

The work environment is indoors, though conditions inside may reflect the outdoor weather. The role involves consistently lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling weights ranging from 25 lbs. to 50lbs, and occasionally carrying up to 25lbs. You will be constantly standing and occasionally walking, bending, and twisting. Effective communication and hearing abilities are essential, as well as specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
