Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant W2 Per Diem Hiring Bonus
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home physical therapy visits across Alameda County . This is a W-2 per diem role ideal for PTAs looking for schedule flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient relationships. You’ll treat patients in their homes, collaborate closely with a supervising Physical Therapist, and be supported by a local clinical team. Apollo is part of Obran Cooperative , a worker-owned healthcare organization where clinicians have a real voice and share in the success of the company.
What You’ll Do
- Provide in-home physical therapy treatments under PT supervision
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement
- Complete visit documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising PT
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Active California PTA license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally around Alameda County
- Home health experience
- Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required)

- $100 after completion of your first patient visit
