Location : North Hills, CA

Provide a welcoming and friendly work environment for internal employment staff, as well as customers. This is a customer facing position, so the candidate MUST have exceptional people skills. The door host is required to greet every guest and log guest related information for guest tracking, such as new guest, returning guest, etc. The host will inform guests of weekly and monthly specials. The ideal candidate must maintain a clean workstation, and aid in keeping the work environment clean. The door host will be expected to periodically sweep areas designated by management, such as the lobby, restrooms, etc. The door host must have the ability to control situations, and the ability to de-escalate situations with a calm, professional demeanor. The door host must have the ability to work as a part of a team. The host will be responsible for answering phone calls. Use the company provided radio communication to stay in contact with the internal staff and the outside security guard(s) when applicable. Candidates must be highly self motivated and work vigilantly to maintain the high standard of operations for this environment. The door host will be required to write incident reports, as needed.

Night Shift

Physical Demands: Requires prolonged sitting and standing. Typical physical demands standing, sitting down, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, walking, and at times using reasonable physical contact in order to redirect customers away from the property. This is a non-exempt position, and scheduling would be based on business necessity and coordinated through the General Manager. Ideal candidate should be available to work a flexible schedule, however, management works extremely hard to normalize days, so that week over week the scheduled days for the individual would be similar. This is not meant to encompass everything that is required in the job; and, the door host may perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications/Requirements :

Must possess great people skills

Must be visible and attentive to prevent potential theft or criminal activity

At least 18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.28 per hour
