Project Specialist (IVC - Tech Srvcs - Asset Audit)
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Assist in campus-wide technology audit, working with team in ITAM platform for asset accuracy.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.
-Aiding campuswide technology audits and asset verification.
-Serving as a resource for the maintenance of accurate asset records within the IT Asset Management (ITAM) platform.
-Supporting the organization and maintenance of the technology warehouse.
-Prepare technology assets for surplus, disposal, and redistribution.
-Support asset tagging, inventory reconciliation, and lifecycle documentation.
Ability to:
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with diverse campus stakeholders.
Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Report to work on a regular and consistent basis, as scheduled, to assigned job.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment using a computer and standard office equipment. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting, viewing a computer screen, and performing repetitive hand movements. May require occasional interaction with campus departments and staff. Vision sufficient to read digital documents and identify formatting issues is essential.
