Healthcare Operations Manager (San Francisco)
As our Senior Operations Manager, youll oversee our largest facility, including 4 clinical suites, C-suite + administration, 10+ physicians, and a dedicated team of 40+ staff. Your leadership will ensure operational excellence, a positive work culture, and exceptional patient care.
Location: San Francisco, CA (Laurel Heights area)
Position: Full-Time, Onsite (8 AM 5 PM, Monday to Friday)
Compensation: $170,000/year target
Reporting To: VP of Operations
What Were Looking For:
- Experience: 7+ years in healthcare operations management, with direct performance management responsibilities for large teams.
- Education: Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field required; Masters preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of healthcare operations, patient service standards, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, HIPAA).
- Leadership: Proven ability to motivate and inspire a team, with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Technology: Advanced proficiency with Apple products and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Professionalism: High level of integrity and discretion in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Do:
- Lead Daily Operations: Ensure efficient, high-quality site performance and resource use.
- Manage Staff: Oversee PCAshiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Coordinate Care: Align workflows with clinical teams to support seamless patient care.
- Enhance Member Experience: Address concerns and support retention strategies.
- Drive Improvement: Monitor performance, implement improvements, and ensure compliance.
- Oversee Budget: Manage site expenses and vendor relations.
- Support Facilities & Tech: Maintain the physical site and partner with IT for smooth operations.
- Contribute Organization-Wide: Join cross-functional projects and initiatives.
