Job Mission The Application Software Team are product owners for several critical applications that deliver data from light source to the customer and bring it back to ASML for analysis. We are responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing the solutions for all data products used within the DUV group along with integration and deployment of our products. Job Description As a DevOps Engineer you will work on developing and maintaining the build systems supporting our software products for the DUV line of lasers. As part of the Application Software team, you would work closely with Embedded Software and Test Automation teams to collect and refine requirements for the project you are working on. Using those requirements, you will formulate designs, implement those designs, and test them. Duties And Responsibilities- Collecting, refining requirements and designing solutions for DevOps.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
- Building software automation, for example Jenkins pipelines.
- Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that integrate with Artifactory for efficient software deployment.
- Scripting and automating various aspects of the software delivery process using languages like Python, Bash, Batch files etc.
- Upgrading and maintaining build machines and applications as per IT guidelines.
- Storing, managing, and distributing software artifacts, binary files, and dependencies.
- Regular Reporting of current and future work to the organization.
- Contribute to the creation of a long-term DevOps roadmap.
- Implement AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science related degree.
- 2-5 years of DevOps experience
- Must possess scripting experience with any of the following: Python, Bash, Batch, etc.
- Previous experience with the following technologies an advantage: Groovy, Jenkins Pipeline, JIRA, CI/CD, Dashboarding (eg Grafana), databases, Version Control System (SVN, GitHub,), teamforge.
- Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, Ansible
- Highly skilled with the Jenkins Pipeline development
- Experience with administering JIRA
- Experience working with different flavors of Linux and Windows
- Knowledge of Software configuration management and the ability to read and create appropriate project documentation.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.
- Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to use Microsoft office products Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio.
- This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA . It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
- A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
- Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
