Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for patients in Labor and Delivery following the nursing process and established standards of care
- Assess maternal and fetal status, monitor for changes, and implement appropriate interventions
- Administer medications, perform procedures as ordered, and maintain patient safety and infection control
- Coordinate care with obstetricians, anesthesia, neonatal services, and other disciplines to ensure seamless care
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff on the unit; delegate tasks as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, plans, interventions, and outcomes

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to work in an inpatient Labor and Delivery setting and to perform 12-hour night shifts
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and to float or adapt to unit needs as required
- 1 year of RN experience in Labor & Delivery or maternity care is preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary credentials and pass unit-specific onboarding and credentialing
