The MRI Technologist is responsible for the performance of all aspects of MR imaging, accurately and in accordance with established procedures and policies in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients of all groups. Follows all regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions. Maintains professional standards of conduct an ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. Contributes to total patient care by accessing pertinent patient information, processes images, assures correct images, accurate billing and file documentation, records information related to exams into department computer system. Performs other activities in support of clinical team members when not engaged in imaging activities.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) required.
2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and remain current.
3. Must be a graduate of a ARRT approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course.
4. At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist Preferred.
5. Proficient computer skills.
Pay Transparency
Shasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $43.50 to $60.22. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
