What You’ll Do

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in steering our financial operations towards sustained growth and compliance. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements, streamline our month-end processes, and uphold the highest standards of tax and regulatory compliance. Leading by example, you'll guide a dedicated team of accounting professionals, fostering cross-departmental collaboration and championing strategic financial initiatives that drive our organization forward.

• Financial Oversight and Compliance - Lead the reconciliation of financial statements to maintain their integrity and accuracy. Monitor compliance with standardized accounting frameworks to ensure less than 15% failure rate in internal audits.

• Reporting and Analysis - Expedite the month-end closing process, aiming for completion within 7 days post-month-end. Investigate and resolve any accounting discrepancies or signs of potential fraud, ensuring no material adjustments are needed.

• Tax and Regulatory Adherence - Manage and oversee all tax-related activities, ensuring filings are completed accurately and ahead of deadlines. Guarantee compliance with all statutory requirements, maintaining a record of zero errors in data submissions and filings.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.

• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is strongly preferred.

• 2- 5 years of experience in financial closing in an accounting role

• Financial close, budget assistance, and FP&A experience.

• Demonstrated ability to enhance financial procedures and systems.

• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing accounting teams.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing business requirements.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
  
  

Preferred Job Requirements

• Experience in distribution or high turnover consumer products businesses are a plus.

• Proficiency in Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, or other SE Asian Languages are a plus.

Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year
