We're seeking an AI Product Manager to drive our ambitious roadmap and help us become the industry leader in AI-enabled mortgage operations.

What you will be doing:

● Own the AI transformation roadmap for loan operations, from initial application to funding

● Drive automation initiatives that eliminate manual work for MLPs (Mortgage Loan Partners) and LOAs (Loan Officer Assistants)

● Build and optimize our AI assistant "Leah" to handle complex mortgage guidelines and underwriting scenarios

● Transform borrower experience through intelligent document processing and proactive communication

● Shape the future of non-QM lending through AI-powered qualification and risk assessment How you will do it

Our Mission Transform Griffin Funding into the most efficient non-QM lender through AI, achieving:

● 2x loan officer productivity

● 50% reduction in processing time

● Elimination of repetitive MLP/LOA tasks

● Industry-leading borrower experience

What you should bring:

● 3+ years in product management, preferably in fintech, mortgage, or lending

● Experience with loan origination systems (LendingPad, Encompass) and mortgage workflows

● Understanding of AI/ML concepts, especially RAG systems, document processing, and workflow automation

● Track record of driving operational efficiency gains of $500K+ annually

● Ability to translate complex mortgage requirements into technical specifications

● Strong analytical skills to identify automation opportunities across 30-40 loan pipeline stages Nice-to-haves

● NMLS license or mortgage industry experience

● Experience with non-QM lending and alternative documentation loans

● Background in building or implementing chatbots/virtual assistants

● Knowledge of mortgage compliance (RESPA, TILA, TRID)

● Experience with Optimal Blue, House Canary, or similar mortgage tech platforms

● Prior work with agencies or consulting firms on digital transformation projects
