Interim Accounting Manager POST NUMBER: 448243

Our client, a healthtech company focused on precision health and data-driven healthcare solutions, is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to support its health financing division. The role will play a key part in supporting accounting operations and integration efforts following a recent business acquisition. This is a fully remote position , but candidates must be able to work Pacific Time hours .

Responsibilities:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Assist with integration activities related to a platform transition, including system changes and accounting tasks.
• Prepare reconciliations, workpapers, and financial tie-outs using Google Sheets and other tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical accounting, legal, and compliance to improve processes.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and maintain effective internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors to support a smooth audit process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 5 years of combined experience in public accounting and industry (Big 4 and/or public company experience ideal).
• Strong operational accounting background with advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
