Legacy & Operations Manager, Private Equity
Job Description and Duties

Our Private Equity (PE) team is currently seeking an Associate Investment Manager (AIM) to primarily be responsible for supporting the Investment Manager in overseeing the PE Buyout, Legacy, Emerging and Diverse Manager portfolio as well as operational activities including various reports and the PE procedures manual, and drive our CalPERS mission.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership and support on the Private Equity (PE) Policies and Procedures and operational activities in relation to investment underwriting and monitoring, and reporting activity.
- Provide leadership and support of all aspects of the PE Legacy Portfolio including the earlier and more recent Emerging and Diverse Manager initiatives.
- Lead the negotiation of legal terms within the documents governing investments. Interact with numerous stakeholders, including assigned external management consultants, advisors, and/or legal experts.
- Stakeholder and external manager engagement including risk oversight and mitigation.

In addition to Live Scan, this position requires additional background screening prior to employment. Surety Bond
