Position Summary
Heraeus Precious Metals is seeking an HR Business Associate – Talent Acquisition & Projects to support our growing North American organization. In this role, you will partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to attract top talent, deliver an exceptional candidate experience, and support strategic HR initiatives that drive operational excellence. This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys recruiting, project work, process improvement, and collaborating across a global organization to make a meaningful business impact.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding support.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies and attract qualified talent across manufacturing, technical, professional, and administrative roles.
- Deliver a consistent, positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Support HR projects and initiatives focused on talent acquisition, employee experience, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze recruiting metrics, HR reports, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Coordinate HR communications, training activities, and employee engagement initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain HR systems, documentation, and processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR leadership, and cross-functional teams to support business priorities and continuous improvement efforts.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, increase efficiency, and enhance service delivery through standardization and automation.
What is Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or HR Operations.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is preferred.
- Experience supporting recruiting, HR projects, process improvement initiatives, or employee engagement programs is preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
