Employment Law Associate Attorney (Remote)
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in employment law cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment claims.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support cases and provide sound legal advice.
- Participate in client consultations to gather information and discuss legal strategies.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients with opposing parties and their counsel.
- Prepare and present cases in court or before administrative agencies as necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in employment law to ensure compliance and inform clients appropriately.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience.
- Must have experience in compliance, employee handbooks, employment law defence, and litigation
- Must have a well-established and exclusive employment litigation, defence background
- School district defence experience required
- Commitment to proactive case management
- California Bar license required.
